LOW LEVEL LASER THERAPY

Low level laser therapy (cold laser) is a marvelous treatment modality. It utilizes laser light at 5 milliwats
or less, and while very few people can actually feel it, the positive biological and neurological effects are
tremendous. Laser light is a coherent beam of light as all of the light waves stream out in the same
direction and have the same phase. Laser light is so powerful because communication within the body
utilizes coherent light, consequently laser light can actually aid cell to cell communications.

Laser therapy for wound or injury healing has proven benefits. There is much documentation of the ability
of laser light to affect the cell's ability to produce the substances that help healing. In fact, research shows
that low level laser light can increase healing time by 30 - 50%.

Laser therapy can also be used to activate the nervous system. While healing generally takes some
time, many times neurological corrections using laser brings immediate results. This involves activating
the nervous system with traditional and non-traditional testing methods. The nervous system is evaluated
systematically and weaknesses are corrected in a step by step fashion. This system is designed to find
problems that would not be found by any other means. This technique increases the probability of
success because weaknesses in the entire nervous system are sequentially strengthened and
corrected. Many times patients remark that this analysis is the most thorough they have ever
experienced.

We often report success treating patients with various conditions including but not limited to:

Sports Injury: Muscle and joint pain, decreased range of motion
Brain Injury: Stroke, paralysis, bells palsy, speech and swallowing dysfunction
Spinal cord injury: paralysis, sensory and motor injury
Auto Immune: Rheumatoid Arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, Gullian-Barre
Joint & bone injury: broken bones, decreased joint space, ligament tears, post surgery
