            Frequently Asked Questions

How does the EIS Work?
Basically the E.I.S. sends a small current into your body to
give us a map that can translate into pictures that represent
your body and your health. This micro current passes
through the parts of the body known as the interstitial fluid.
As it passes through this body compartment, the system
measures the physiological parameters of the major organs
and your body composition.

What can it tell me about my health?
An E.I.S. evaluation can give you an idea about the state of
the function of the organs and tissues in the body. Is your
liver working well? Is your heart working well? What part of
your body seems to not be functioning as well as it could?

Is that really my body?
No, it isn't really your body. It is a model based on very
complex mathematical calculations derived from the E.I.S.
evaluation. It represents your body systems functions, but
not your real body.

Do you mean that you can do the test, then treat me
and do the test again to see if what you did helped?
Yes, that is the whole purpose of the device, to see if you are
getting better from the treatment you are given.

What do the different colors mean?
A grey color means that there is no problem with the function
of the organ in question. If the organ has a blue, yellow or
red color that means that something is going on that could be
the source of your problem. It is a great visual tool for both
the doctor and the patient for understanding the body
function.

Is this device accurate?
Yes, it is. Studies from Interstitial fluid measurement have
been conducted that have determined an overall accuracy of
85%. However the EIS system is considered to provide
complimentary data, not to replace any existing medical
examination.

Is it reproducible?
Yes, it is reproducible. A second test done within a few
minutes or a few hours will have generally the same results
within the physiological variations. If a well indicated treatment
is provided, that could change the results and of course, that
is what you and your Doctor are looking for.
